- Give people more than they expect--cheerfully (Philemon 21).
- Do not believe everything you hear.
- Smile (even when answering the phone). Callers can hear it in your voice.
- When you say, "I'm sorry," look the person in the eye.
- Spend some time alone (Matthew 14:23).
- When you say, "I love you," mean it (1 Peter 1:22).
- Don't let a dispute ruin a friendship (Proverbs 27:10).
- Do not judge people by their relatives (Matthew 7:1).
- Do an anonymous kindness each day (Ephesians 4:32).
- When you lose, don't lose the lesson (James 1:2-4).
- When you make a mistake, admit it and take the immediate steps to correct it.
- In disagreements, fight fairly. No name calling, threats, or bringing up history.
- Love deeply and passionately. It is the only way to live completely.
- Never forget that your identity as a Christian hinges upon your love for others (John 13:35).
- Take time during the day to pray (Luke 18:1) and give attention to God's word (1 Timothy 4:3).
